For dogs and puppies over 5 months of age

This class covers the essential commands that every dog needs in order to be a safe, well mannered citizen and is excellent for total beginners to those who know the basics but need a more challenging environment to practice in. This class will teach you how to effectively communicate with your dog and deal with a variety of day to day training situations all in a positive, relaxed atmosphere.

Class curriculum includes:

• Basic leash manners

• Sit, Down, Come, Stay, and Leave-it

• Working with all the commands in a variety of situations

• Teaching a quick response to these commands, regardless of the distractions present

• Prevention and elimination of some of the basic problem behaviors, such as jumping up and barking

• Games and challenges to test your skills!

Handouts detailing the lessons taught in class are provided throughout the program to offer assistance while practicing at home with your dog.

Classes run once a week for 6 weeks and are 1 hour in length.

Cost: $155.00 + HST

To register for the next available class, please mail a $50 deposit payable to Darcie Jennings. Class sizes are limited and will be filled in the order that deposits are received.
